About Us
A qualified behaviour specialist with over 20 years’ experience in her field, Behaviour Consultant Kerry Shaw MSc has been working with neurodiverse children for most of her adult life.
Her Company, Horizon Hub (formerly Behaviour Skills), which she established in 2017, was born out of her passion to create a wholly child-centred service, a holistic approach of tailored support for children with varying additional needs, where learning and emotional regulation challenges are often present. The Company is an Alternative Provision approved by North Yorkshire County Council and the City of York Council and is recognised on their Alternative Provision Directories.
Who do we work with?
We work with children and young adults, providing bespoke therapy based on a child’s individual needs.
A child does not need to have a diagnosis in order for us to work with them.

Our Services
We deliver support of varying degrees, working with children on a 1:1 basis, in our Studio, at school, at home and out in the Community where appropriate, ensuring that all skills acquired are generalised amongst all settings.
We also:
Carry out in depth observations
Write reports highlighting recommendations
Devise support plans
Provide parent/family training
Deliver specialist TA support within mainstream settings
Support SENCo positions in the private educational sector
Our Location
Horizon Hub premises are based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire but we work throughout the whole of Yorkshire also covering Leeds, Bradford and surrounding areas.
