Without a doubt, the team knows their stuff. The transformation in our daughter (14yo) is amazing. The staff knew how to connect with her from the very first session, something other therapists have tried and failed with. They build her confidence, challenge her thinking and suggest interventions that actually work. I have been included in the 1:1 sessions as well which has been invaluable. The team are kind, caring and know just what to do to get children engaged. My daughter looks forward to her sessions and the future looks so much brighter knowing we have a team of expertise on our side

After hearing about Kerry and her team at Horizon Hub, we decided to make the journey across to Harrogate (from Cumbria). Our 4yr old daughter has autism & has minimal verbal communication. She attended the "Boost Session " which was a full day of 1:1 support from staff learning lots of new skills e.g. sitting, waiting & copying. Once our daughter was comfortable with her surroundings, we left for a short period of time to allow her to be herself. We were regularly kept updated with video messages and we were pleasantly surprised at how our daughter was responding to the learning activities in such a short space of time. The staff’s relaxed, fun approach to these activities brought the best out in her, & best of all we can implement these both in the home & at preschool. We genuinely feel in Horizon Hub that we have found staff who understand both our daughter’s needs & ours as parents

We had the best day with the Horizon Hub staff today. Normally it takes my 2 year old (diagnosed ASD) a while to warm up to people but he took to them instantly. We worked on sitting, matching, placing objects in boxes and so much more. Cannot wait to work on everything we’ve been taught today and to come back and learn more!

The team have been working with my son (ASD) for nearly a year now after we transferred from another consultancy. We have never looked back! The staff have a flexible approach and incorporate various strategies to help manage his behaviour and develop his communication, socialisation and comprehension skills. My son has improved in so many areas since we started. Friends and family have commented on how much calmer he is, using the introduced relaxation techniques which we can adapt to challenging situations e.g. hair cuts. His vocalisation has improved significantly which in turn has reduced his frustrations. Best of all, the team believe in him and ensure he achieves his full potential. The team are all strong communicators, resourceful, approachable and incredibly knowledgeable and I cannot recommend them highly enough. We feel very lucky to work with them

Our son instantly took a shine to the staff even though he is generally quite shy. Their laidback approach is amazing and even though we’ve only had a couple of sessions so far, he is really starting to show signs of development with his speech using the techniques they have given us

The staff adapt their approach to learning to suit each individual child. The techniques are very adaptable and can be applied to any situation. For example, they have helped us with potty training, trying new foods, hair cutting, dressing and undressing, along with all the speech, concentration and building understanding techniques. The staff have a very relaxed approach. They also go into our son’s preschool and have taught his one to one helper to follow techniques, updating goals and targets on a regular basis for preschool to follow. I cannot recommend Horizon Hub highly enough. The staff are such positive and friendly people with a vast breadth of knowledge that can help with any situation. I genuinely believe that our son’s significant development over the last 12 months is down to Horizon Hub input
